Alter Ego is a group of seven experienced musicians, singers, and songwriters with daytime professional careers who initially came together with the intention of just getting out of the house to play again.
It was soon apparent that there was something unique and special and musically intriguing that was happening whenever they got together, with strong vocal harmonies and well-written original material falling quickly into place, and perhaps most importantly, it was just a really easy and fun group of people to hang out and play with.
Their music is pretty evenly split between covers and original tunes, and it ranges from alt-country to folk to light rock/pop.
once you have listened to them, you will find the richness of the music running through your head, and you harmonize with it.
